Saltwater Pros, a retailer of name brand fishing products and boating accessories has opened up in North Myrtle Beach. If you show up to their location at the Harbourgate Marina, you might find what you’d expect. That’s because, Saltwater Pros sells mostly online. They house their 14,000 products across two warehouses in New Jersey and Florida.
“Saltwater Pros is a white-glove concept. We will delivery bait and tackle from shop to dock,” said Sean Michael, CEO of Saltwater Pros. “We don’t have larger items in-store such as trolling motors, boat radar systems, outriggers etc but most marine outfitters don’t,” he added.
Saltwater Pros sells name brand marine products from Garmin, Simrad, Lawrence, C-Map, ACR and others as well as premium fishing gear from Penn, Abu Garcia and many more.
“We do have a lot of lures and fishing gear such as rods and reels in stock so depending on what you need, we can typically get it out to you same day,” Michael mentioned.
By 2022 Saltwater Pros plans on distributing a dozen bait & tackle vending machines around the grand strand as well as launching a series of workshops, fishing shows and YouTube series featuring local saltwater fishing pros in South Carolina.
